This product, known as Tcpp for Polyurethane Insulation Board, is a colorless to pale yellow oily liquid. It has a soothing and calming effect, perfect for creating a peaceful environment. Soluble in benzene, alcohol, ester, and carbon tetrachloride, it effortlessly blends into various solutions. With an aquatic solubility of 1.6g/L at 20ºC, it seamlessly integrates into water-based applications.
Designed to enhance flame retardancy, this product contains 32.5% chlorine and 9.5% phosphorus. The combination of these elements makes it highly effective in preventing and slowing down the spread of fire. Additionally, it offers other valuable properties such as plasticization, moisture-proofing, and anti-static capabilities. These features make it an excellent choice for additional flame retardancy.
When it comes to applications, this product is versatile. It is suitable for flame retardancy in polyurethane, PVC, polystyrene, phenolic resin, acrylic resin, rubber, and coating. For optimal results, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with antimony oxide, which enhances the flame-retardant efficiency. The ideal ratio is approximately 10% of this product to antimony oxide.
